People v. S.M., LAX Airport Court ~ FELONY ARMED ROBBERY, 2 VICTIMS: DISMISSED AND REDUCED TO MISDEM RECEIVING STOLENT PROPERTY 
 
Client, just over the age of majority, was facing two potential strikes for armed robbery. After many negotiations, we succeeded in getting the robbery counts dismissed and taking an amended count of receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. Client was mentally prepared for state prison and the loss of his youth/future career and instead, was pleasantly surprised with release for time served.
 
People v. J.T., CCB Court-Downtown LA ~ FELONY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CRIMINAL THREATS AND ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: DISMISSED
 
Client, a successful music agent, was being accused of several felony matters by an ex-lover.  After over six months of investigative work and interviewing, we were able to present audio and video evidence that presented major doubt and destroyed victim's credibility.  In addition, we filed criminal charges against the victim for her continual threats against our client. Our client's case was dismissed and the "victim" is now the defendant in a new case.
 
 
People v. M.B., Harbor Justice Center, Orange County Court ~ FELONY ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER, RESISTING ARREST, CRIMINAL THREATS AGAINST A POLICE OFFICER: DISMISSED 
 
Client, a registered nurse and hospital administrator, was charged with numerous felonies; all having to do with her drunken rants and aggressive behavior with a several police officers.  As a licensed professional and a single mother, she was extremely worried she would lose a well-paying job and primary custody of her minor child.  She begged us to protect her license and any crime of moral turpitude would violate her Ethics Oath with the State Licensing Board.  We worked closely with DA and Police Chief and negotiated out community service and an apology letter to the police officers involved. Client was thrilled with the dismissal.
 
 
People v. D.N., LAX Airport Court ~ POSSESSION OF A WEAPON AT THE AIRPORT: DISMISSED
 
Client, an executive who travels frequently, was unknowingly in possession of an item labelled a "weapon" and found at a TSA screening.  After much investigation and several meetings with the prosecutors, case was dismissed; weapon destroyed.
 

People v. K.A., Van Nuys Court ~ DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & CHILD ABUSE: DISMISSED 

This client, successful head of a chain of  food stores, was worried about his liberty.  Also, he had a prior domestic violence conviction in the same courthouse against the same victim, and was now facing felony domestic violence and child abuse charges. After we were able to successfully get the case dismissed, our client and his wife seeked marriage and family therapy. They are united and living happily with their children.

People v. M.H., Lancaster Court ~ ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON & CRIMINAL THREATS: DISMISSED

Our client, a sweet grandmother, with no previous history, was facing two strikes in a nasty family war against her brother-in-law. She nearly had a heart attack over the charges, professing to us that she was innocent.  After doing much investigative work, we were able to provide the DA's evidence that convinced them to dismiss the case.

People v. C.A., Compton Court ~ CRIMINAL THREATS & ASSAULT:
INFRACTION


Client was a respected toy executive who had a run-in with another party. He feared going to state prison and losing his high-level job. He was accused of assaulting the driver and damaging his car windshield as he allegedly made criminal threats.  After much work with the victim, we were able to achieve a civil compromise and get an infraction "disturbance of the peace". Client was thriiled that a felony case had dwindled down to an infraction, equivalent to a parking ticket.
 
People v. A.B., Bauchet Court ~ SOLICITATION OF PROSTITUTION: DISMISSED
 
Marred father of four was accused of solicitation. Case was dismissed after client attended a single seminar.
 

People v. R.W., West Covina Court ~ POSSESSION W/INTENT TO SELL DRUGS/TRANSPORTATION: DISMISSED

We were able to inform court about client's valid medical marijuana card and the timeline/location in which the product was purchased.  Using good character letters, and other declarations, paired with the card; the prosecutor dismissed the case. This university student had has clean record back again and was able to apply to medical school; a lifelong dream.

People v. B.W., Pasadena Court ~ Possession/Transportation of  Cocaine: PROP 36/DRUG DIVERSION PROGRAM

Our client, a middle-aged female, was fearful of losing her government job if this felony charge were to remain on her record and/or if she had to go to jail. After numerous months of negotiation, we were able to get her a Prop 36 program. She has subsequently completed all her terms and maintains her clean record.  Her work never found out and she has since received a raise!
 
 
People v. V.R., Compton Court ~ Possession of an unregistered firemarm & ammunition by a felon on active parole: DISMISSED

We obtained wonderful declarations from client's landlord, roomates, ex-wife, minor children and most importantly, his parole officer.  After packaging all of that and presenting our evidence to the prosecutor, we met with the judge in chambers.  Case was dismissed and client's parole was reinstated.  He went home to his family and three children in time for Christmas.

People v. J.L., LAX Airport Court ~ Possession/Transportation of Heroin, Cocaine and Marijuana: DISMISSED

Client was facing numerous felony drug charges after being caught in a sting.  We negotiated with the police directly and provided useful information in a six month time period.  After much hard work, we received the magical letter from the police to the prosecutor which resulted in a dismissal of client's case. 

People v. J.V., Juvenile Court ~ 15 counts of FORCIBLE RAPE: DISMISSED
 
Client had two serious prior juvenile issues and was looking at 25-life for the present case, with a family member as the victim.  After nearly a year of hard work, psychiatric evaluations, private investigation and much doubt raised in the victim's story, prosecutor finally agreed to dismiss the matter.  Client and his family were ecstatic!
 

People v. T.D., San Fernando Court~ FELONY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & CRIMINAL THREATS: DISMISSED
 
Client's girlfriend confessed to fabricating entire criminal case yet prosecutor wasn't moved. He stated that the majority of victims will recant and did not believe client's girlfriend.  We continued to fight and were ultimately able to convince the prosecutor's office to dismiss all charges.
 

People v. C.K., Long Beach Court ~ EMBEZZLEMENT & GRAND THEFT AUTO: DISMISSED
 
Client, an employee, who was accused of stealing a car from his boss was most concerned about state prison.  He was not a US Citizen and feared deportation.  He was adamant that he had not stolen the vehicle but was instead being made an example of by his supervisor.  After endless months of investigative work, we were able to show major credibility issues with the alleged "victim" and his team.  Prosecutor had to dismiss. Judge complimented attorney's legal skills on the record.
